You can
find Bakkhos guesthouse, on the Aegean coast of Turkey,
at about 95 kms south from Izmir airport to
Kusadasi.
Bakkhos guesthouse is hidden behind the sloping hills of
the beach-resort Kusadasi at about 4.2 kms away on a
nice country-road to the village of Kirazli (Kiraz =
cherry), which is famous for its cherries.
This
lovely road leads you through fields of olive orchards
and vineyards, to the village of Camlik, laying at the
main-road between Aydin and Selcuk(Ephesus)
Bakkhos allows you fantastic panoramic views of those
streched valleys and her vineyard, hence the name
Bakkhos, (Bacchus) the roman god of the wine. Two
public transportation , so called dolmus-lines, are
passing by on this country road, both coming out of the
direction of Aydin and heading for Kusadasi. The
main bus-station of
Kusadasi is at the end of
this Kirazli Road located.
